About the Event
Join us for a basic introduction to sewing! In this 1 day workshop, we will create 3 projects from our 1st Sew-mester class: Decorative Pillow, Pillowcase & Zipper Pouch. With these simple projects, students will learn techniques to create any thing!
Ages 13 & older Saturday 2-7 pm light refreshments provided
This is a fast paced class. Students wishing to attend should be able to learn & retain new information quickly. For a slower paced environment, our Sewing S'cool series will be a better choice.
Students will need to provide their fabric/ supplies.
Sewing machines, tools and thread are provided for you.
Supply List - Cotton fabric ONLY
Decorative pillow
1- half yard cotton fabric (sequins and satin are not recommended)
1- 12 oz bag poly-fil
Pillowcase
Main fabric- â…” yard
Cuff fabric- â…“ yard
Zippered Pouch
Outer fabric- 1 fat quarter
Lining fabric- 1 fat quarter
1- nine (9) inch zipper
Cotton fabric strongly suggested
Class will end on time. Students wishing to complete unfinished projects will need to book an Individual Sewing Session.
